The Scalloway Community Development Company(SCDC) is a charitable company based in the village of Scalloway in the Shetland Islands, UK. The aim of the company is to consult and deliver on improvements to the village and its amenities to the benefit of local residents and visitors to the area.

SCDC is based at the Kirk Business Centre in Scalloway and is governed by a volunteer board of directors. The company currently employs 2 development workers whose role it is to pursue funding and projects for the community

Much of SCDCs current and future projects originate from two large scale community consultations held in recent years. The first was titled ReCreate Scalloway and has already yielded several successful projects. The second consultation is a more detailed outcome of ReCreate Scalloway delivered a report titled Destination Scalloway, which holds a masterplan for improvement to the Scalloway waterfront and town centre.

SCDC has also successfully developed a camping and caravan park at Asta titled the Scalloway Caravan Park (SCP). This was another outcome of ReCreate Scalloway and opened to the public in summer 2023. The SCP was awarded a 4 star rating by Visit Scotland at its opening ceremony, only weeks after it began trading. Bookings for the campsite can be made through its own dedicated website.
